Blog Administrator: To solicit and post blog submissions from members of NAPO-NE, twice monthly to the website. Solicit and assist with the creation of video blogs as well.

Buddy Program Coordinator: The Buddy Program Coordinator oversees the Buddy Program which pairs up new members with veteran members at monthly meetings to make the new members feel welcome and more comfortable. The Buddy Program Coordinator keeps track of new chapter members who would like to have a Buddy and chapter members who would like to volunteer as a Buddy. The coordinator is responsible for recruiting volunteers as needed and ensuring that all requests for a Buddy are responded to in a timely manner.

Chapter Meeting Scribe: The Chapter Meeting Scribe is required to record the minutes of the business portion of the monthly chapter meetings for publication on the NAPO-NE website. These minutes are provided so that members who did not attend can be informed of the Chapter announcements from the meetings.

Constant Contact Administrator: The Constant Contact Administrator is responsible for assisting the chapter’s Board and committee chairs with use of our Constant Contact account to distribute polished, brand-consistent messages to our membership and the public; ensure lists are maintained; and create, distribute, and report on online surveys via Constant Contact.

Business Partners Coordinator: The Business Partners Chair is responsible for working with the Associate Member Committee to build relationships with industry partners. The objective of the committee is to build a solid group of Associate Members who actively participate in and benefit from NAPO-NE. Additionally, the Associate Member Chair works to increase familiarity between Regular Members and Associate Members to expand all members’ industry resources to ultimately promote each others’ businesses.
Facebook Administrator: The Facebook Administrator is responsible for encouraging engagement on our public and private Facebook pages.

Golden Circle Liaison: The Golden Circle Liaison is the ambassador of NAPO’s Golden Circle (GC). They are committed to serve the needs of GC members in New England, exhibit the highest standards of leadership, and practice NAPO’s Mission Statement, Code of Ethics and policies. GC Liaisons help to develop a worthwhile professional community with networking opportunities for our industry veterans, and provide information and support to new and current GC members.

Greeter Coordinator: Ensures each chapter meeting has greeters to set up name tags and meet visitors. Is responsible for keeping greeter boxes up-to-date and receiving new member name badges and member sign in sheet from Administrator and delivering to the meetings.

Marketing Chair: The Marketing Chair is responsible for supporting all marketing endeavors and publishing NAPO-NE events. All marketing materials must be created with input and information provided by committee chair and approved by the Board. Marketing materials include, but are not limited to: collateral, Constant Contact emails, social media and website copy.

Media Librarian: The Media Librarian is responsible for managing the NAPO-NE Media Library program. NAPO-NE members are permitted to borrow up to 2 items at a time from the chapter media library. The library consists of CDs and some books. The Media Librarian is responsible for distributing CD’s and books to members upon request and ensuring tracking of items to be returned.

Meeting Tech: The Meeting Tech is responsible for the custody and control of NAPO-New England’s media equipment. Responsibilities include the set-up and breakdown of equipment, before and after each Chapter meeting. The Chair will be required to attend or insure delivery of equipment to each NAPO-New England Chapter meeting (second Monday of the month) and any NAPO-New England events that the equipment is needed (i.e. GO Month event or Professional Development Seminar).

Membership Chair: Oversee NAPO-NE Chapter membership-related activities. The Membership Chair is responsible for supporting the New Member Coordinator and the NAPO-NE Ambassador (both report to Membership Chair).

NAPO-NE Outreach Coordinator: NAPO-New England Outreach Coordinator contacts new members of NAPO National to welcome them to NAPO, introduces them to the NAPO-New England chapter, and explains the benefits of chapter membership.

New Member Administrator: The New Member Coordinator processes applications from new chapter members and welcomes new members into the chapter via email and at meetings. He/she serves as a friendly resource to new members as they become oriented with the chapter.

New Organizer Workshop Chair: Arrange meeting dates, facilitate workshop, and create literature for New Organizers Workshop (NOW) class. The NOW Lead Instructors act as liaisons between the NOW Faculty and the Board. NOW Instructors will teach new Professional Organizers the basics about running their own businesses. The students should be exposed to various aspects of managing a professional organizing company.

Professional Development Chair: The Professional Development Chair is responsible for locating and providing professional development educational seminars for the NAPO-New England chapter. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, generating workshop ideas, working with the board to finalize seminars each year, coordinating and booking speakers, and managing all details necessary to implement the seminars.

Programming Chair: The Programming Chair is responsible for developing and managing programming for NAPO-New England chapter meetings. Responsibilities include generating programming ideas, working with the Board to finalize a yearly program calendar, coordinating and booking speakers, and managing all details necessary to implement the programs each month. The Programming Chair can delegate some of the responsibilities to the Programming Committee members.
Quantum Leap Chair: The Quantum Leap Chair oversees the NAPO-NE Quantum Leap program. The position entails setting up presentations at the center and securing volunteers to present on paper, time, and money management at that venue.Quantum Leap is NAPO’s community service program. The Quantum Leap program is conducted in local communities nationwide. It is NAPO’s commitment is to provide organizational skills training to those in life transitions who can least afford training and critically need it. Classes are offered in time, paper, and money management. NAPO-New England has an established relationship with the Women at Work program at St. Mary’s Women and Children’s Center in Dorchester, MA.

Resource List and Charitable Donations Administrator: Responsible for coordinating a group of members to update Charitable Organizations list every two years. List helps to inform NAPO-NE members about some charitable, non-profit organizations in the Greater Boston Metropolitan Area.

Storage Manager: The storage manager stores all promotional, functional, and historical information for the chapter. These materials are accessed for chapter use when necessary (frequently during major events).

Success Group Coordinator: The Success Group Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and promoting Success Groups to the membership. Success Groups are an informal gathering of NAPO New England members who come together either according to a specific geographic area or special interest or subject. These groups can meet in person, by conference call, or through other web-based meeting formats.

President: Is the executive officer of the chapter and supervises the chapter’s business and activities. Leads the Board of Directors and attends all meetings. The President also serves as the NAPO Liaison for the chapter.

Vice President: The Vice President shall act in place of the President when the President is absent or unable to act. The Vice President shall perform other duties as requested and/or delegated by the President including serving as Board Liaison to chapter committees. The Vice President also serves as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee.

Secretary: Serves on the Board of Director’s and attends all meetings, recording the minutes, keeping track of Board tasks, and assisting the President in recording motions or any other active documentation. The Secretary also maintains written copies of the past years’ minutes, the second mailbox key and the written insurance and incorporation documentation.

Treasurer: Serves on the Board of Directors and attends all meetings. Responsible for overseeing the funds and finances of the chapter. Prepares monthly financial statements for Board. Prepares budget and presents to membership, communicates financials to membership each quarter.

Immediate Past President: Serves on the Board of Directors, acting as an adviser to the current President and Board members and attends all meetings. Provides historical information to ensure that the Board is able to continue its work from board term to board term and chairs the Nomination committee for the next board.
Director at Large: Should the position of Immediate Past President be vacant, a Director at Large is elected to fulfill the responsibilities of that position.

Director of Communication and Technology: The Communications & Technology (C&T) Director is responsible for overseeing all duties related to communications and technology within the chapter. The objectives of this position are to maintain and improve the website and newsletter benefits for chapter members and to help promote the chapter as the local industry authority in New England.
