About the Westwood Food Pantry:
The Westwood Food Pantry is committed to providing essential provisions to individuals and families in the community who need temporary assistance.
Our Project Goal:
To help the Westwood Food Pantry volunteers categorize and organize their surplus food storage area and streamline their overall process to increase efficiency.
This is how the storage shed looked when we arrived.
We led a team of volunteers who helped sort food items by category, remove any expired food, and place remaining food in properly labeled bins.
We built a balanced and easy to follow process to match the way the pantry operates so it is easier for volunteers to find the food necessary to stock the pantry’s “store.”
“The Westwood Food Pantry is extremely grateful to receive professional organization assistance from NAPO NE. The Food Pantry is all volunteer run, therefore organization is critical to keeping things running smoothly.
