School on Wheels MA (SOWMA) August 2016

About School on Wheels MA

The mission of School on Wheels of Massachusetts is to educate children impacted by homelessness by providing academic support and one-on-one mentoring so children can reach their full potential.

Our Project Goal

To help SOWMA with building backpacks for children impacted by homelessness around the state. We built approximately 50 backpacks for ages ranging from Kindergarten to High School. They will be used to fill current and future orders from schools.

We filled each backpack from an assembly line of supplies.

SOWMA assenbly line

Each backpack is filled with age appropriate school supplies and an age appropriate book.

“SOWMA is grateful and appreciative to everyone who supports our mission. When groups come to volunteer they experience first hand how important and valuable our mission truly is.” Danny Dwyer, SOWMA
