The National Association of Professional Organizers – New England Chapter (NAPO-NE) is the second largest NAPO chapter in the country, with more than 150 members serving residential and commercial clients in five states.
NAPO-NE is dedicated to increasing the respect for and public awareness of the professional organizing industry; and providing resources, support and education for our members.
NAPO-NE (formerly New England Professional Organizers) was formed in 1994 when founder Kathy Waddill invited all the Boston-area organizers she could locate (approximately 10) to meet at her home. The gathering was a supportive forum that gave organizers a chance to swap stories and discuss their relatively young industry. The group continued to meet grow, and in 1997, we chose officers and created more structured meetings that allowed time for networking, chapter business, and education. Our geographic reach had grown as well, and we had members from all New England states. In 2001, New England Professional Organizers became NAPO-NE, an official chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers.
